The RYA theory courses are intense. Often long days. Information overload is common.
In the past when clients have come with specific questions we were able to explain in much greater detail than is typically given on a course because we take more time. With this increased depth of knowledge, the topic opens up and becomes less intimidating. On occasion, one phrase or worked example is enough to go from confusion to confidence.
With a multi screen set up and session development based on your input, we can tailor your online tutoring to clear up any area of the RYA syllabus, up to and including Yacht Master Offshore.
Common areas where people struggle include:
- Chartwork (Dead Reckoning, Estimated Positions, Course-to-steer, Running Fixes)
- Tidal calculations & Secondary ports
