Aboard our Provonia 38 racing cruiser, we will elevate our sailing skills beyond those offered by traditional charter yachts. "Seawolf" is designed for speed, competing in races throughout the season. This provides us with the unique opportunity to master sail trim and utilize the many controls available, enhancing our knowledge and experience in performance sailing!
This extraordinary voyage invites you to discover the natural beauty and local charm of Palermo, the Aeolian Islands, Messina, Mount Etna, Catania, Syracuse, Marzememi, Gozo, and finally Valletta. Whether you're an experienced sailor or new to the seas, this trip offers the perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and authentic experiences.
Our journey begins in Palermo, the vibrant capital of Sicily. As we board our high-performance sailing vessel, take in the panoramic views of this historic city from the sea. After familiarizing ourselves with the boat, we set sail, leaving behind the bustling cityscape for the tranquil waters ahead.
Our first stop is the Aeolian Islands, a paradise of unspoiled beauty. Anchor in the sheltered bays of Lipari or Vulcano and immerse yourself in the stunning landscapes. Swim in turquoise waters, snorkel among vibrant marine life, or simply relax on deck, enjoying the serene surroundings. We plan to sail around Stromboli at night to witness the natural fireworks of its active volcano from the comfort of the vessel.
Next, we sail to Messina, navigating the historic Strait of Messina. Enjoy the captivating views and the bustling maritime activity negotiating the moving water.
Our journey then takes us to the vibrant city of Catania, set against the backdrop of Mount Etna. If time allows, we will enjoy a brief excursion to the lower slopes of Etna for a unique perspective of one of the world's most famous active volcanoes.
Continuing along the coast, we reach Syracuse, where the sea meets history. Spend a day enjoying the atmosphere of this ancient capital of the western Greek civilization. Be prepared to take in all the culture Syracuse has to offer!
Next, we sail to Marzememi, a quaint fishing village on Sicily's south eastern coast. The village's relaxed pace and scenic beauty make it a perfect spot to unwind and connect with the essence of Sicilian coastal living.
Our journey continues to the serene island of Gozo. Here, you can take a refreshing swim in the pristine Blue Lagoon, snorkel in crystal-clear waters, or simply unwind on deck, soaking up the sun and the tranquil atmosphere. Gozo offers a perfect blend of relaxation and exploration, with its scenic beauty and peaceful ambiance.
Our adventure concludes in Valletta, where we sail into the iconic Grand Harbour. As we approach the harbor, enjoy the breathtaking views of Malta's fortifications. Celebrate the end of your journey with a sumptuous feast prepared by our onboard chef, featuring local wines and Maltese delicacies.
