As most of you will probably understand, once you qualify as a RYA Day Skipper you may still feel nervous about certain manoeuvres or skippering tasks.
This week is put together specifically for you to practice all the things you did not get time for on your course.
Our focussed exercises will give you a chance to really build on the skills you acquired when you did your training. From theory to knots, we have a session for you taught at your pace, including:-
Forget "mile building". This is skill and confidence building!
You will be concentrating on doing the "hard yards" of sailing: the repetition that develops confidence and sure handling. All under our expert watchful eyes, coaching and offering advice.
And do not forget the stunning setting where we will be enjoying our time on the water! The Clyde is one of the best and reliable sailing areas in the world. With mountains, islands and idyllic harbours tucked into every corner, it truly sets itself apart from other UK locations. Great wind is almost guaranteed!
We are positive that you will see the opportunities this trip offers. Perfect practice makes perfect!
The price you see is the price you pay! No hidden costs!
What is included:-
Any shoreside meals and drinks are at your own discretion.
Our Bavaria 46 is super comfortable and deliberately kept to just 6 berths to make sure everyone gets the maximum time being on the helm.
With a bow thruster to aid in manoeuvring and electric winches to save us physical effort, we have the perfect vessel for upskilling your sailing.
Double cabin shared bunk per person - £950

Do not take our word for it! Read on for reviews of last year!
Excellent coaching. Going into the reasons why manoeuvres are done in a certain way rather than just the teaching the mechanics. The course is an excellent idea and allows time to build skills that you don’t have a chance to develop in other courses. The method of teaching is calm and inspires confidence.
This was an excellent trip and I feel my confidence has grown a lot. On top of that it was just great sailing on the beautiful west coast of Scotland. I look forward to doing more trips in the future.
